Acts 22:9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
I believe the saddest verse in Acts 22 is verse 9. Here Paul re-tells of when God first spoke to him. He says all the men who were with him, “saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.”How sad, to be so close to the presence of God, and not hear Him.
I am afraid many people in the world today see the light of God as it glows in the hearts and lives of believers around them, yet they never hear the voice of God. They may see His light in the glow of church members, but never truly hear His voice. They read the words on the pages of scripture, yet never really hear His voice. Oh, friend listen, pray, ask God through the Holy Spirit to speak clearly to your heart daily.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Will you be still enough today and hear Him speak?
