What’s The Right Thing To Do

Daily Reading – 1 Kings 13-14 / John 7:1-36
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
John 7:23-24 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
The Jewish religious leaders were angry with Jesus. Their anger stemmed from the fact that Jesus had worked on the Sabbath day by healing someone. According to them, you were not to do any type of work on the Sabbath Day. Jesus points out that they also work on the Sabbath day by fulfilling the law of circumcision. Then He said, do not judge the work, judge what is the right thing to do.
We are often too quick to judge others. We make determinations on what we see and may not know all the details behind what is happening.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Might we all be happier if we began to look at people with love instead of doubt?
