   Don’t Play In The Street

SEPTEMBER 21, 2022
Daily Reading – Pro. 24-25 / 2 Co. 7

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Imagine with me for a moment that you are a child. You live in a big city on a busy street, and you have no yard to play in. Which would be worse? If I as your parent said, “do not play in the street, there is a lot of traffic, and you may be hit by a car and killed.” Or, If I said, “Do not worry about the cars, play wherever you want. I think they will stop.” As a child, play wherever sounds good. However, is that best advice? Not really.
As Christians, we hate telling the world of their sin. Satan has made sin look so good to them. Yet, they need to know that the wages of sin is eternal death. That forsaking sin will not bring them sorrow at all, it will instead bring them joy and life.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

As a good friend, shouldn’t we warn people of the danger of sin?
