Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
The Bible says God is the Alpha and Omega, the first and last letter of the Greek alphabet. Revelation 22:13 says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”Today’s passage gives the same idea when it says He is the author and finisher of our faith. However, He is more than a start and an ending; He is everything between as well.
Today’s verse also says, He sat down at the right hand of God. What is He doing? Hebrews 7:25 says; “…he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” He is serving as a mediator for man before God during the between times. I thank Jesus for salvation’s beginning and heaven’s eternal home.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Yet shouldn’t we thank Him for all the “Between times” too?
