Do You Want To See Jesus

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
Luke 19:3-4 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass
that way.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
“Zacchaeus was a wee little man a wee little man was He. He climbed up in a sycomore tree for the Lord he wanted to see.” Most children who have gone to Sunday School have sung this little song. One thing that sticks out to me in today’s passage and the song is that Jesus was coming, and he wanted to see him.
For many people, the idea of Jesus coming by is a sobering one. If they found out that He was coming to their house, there would be some cleaning up to do. Friend, Jesus already sees what is in your house. Even more important, He sees what is in your heart.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
If you heard Jesus was passing by, would you run to get a better view, or try to hide some things from His view?
Are you ready to meet Jesus?
WHAT TO DO ON SUNDAY:
On Sundays, we encourage you to attend your local church and listen intently to what God has prepared in the heart of your Pastor. Write down all the scriptures he uses in that message, then, when you get home re-read those passages for today’s reading. God has given to your Pastor exactly what He desires for you on that day.
