A Light To The Gentiles Too!

Daily Reading – Deuteronomy 18-21 / Luke 2:25-52

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Luke 2:30-32 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

  Being a Christian and believing the Bible is the Word of God has sometimes made people ask, why do you serve the God of the Jews, or isn’t the bible a Jewish book? The answer is yes, He is a Jewish God and yes, it is a Jewish book. However, He is also a God of the Gentiles, and this Bible is also a Gentile book.

    In today’s verses Simeon calls Him; “A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.” He is a God to all humanity. Jews and Gentiles. He was God to all mankind in Genesis before there was a Jewish nation. Remember the Sunday School song, “Jesus loves the little children, ALL the children of the world.”  

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Isn’t it great to know that God love you today no matter what nationality you are?
