NOVEMBER 10, 2022 – Pass Me Some TURKEY

  Pass Me Some TURKEY

NOVEMBER 10, 2022
Daily Reading – Jeremiah 42-45 / Hebrews 4-5

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

Thanksgiving is not far away. Many of us will be dinning with family and friends. The table will be filled with, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, beans, and other great foods. The centerpiece is often a huge golden-brown turkey cooked to perfection. Oh, it smells so good. Just as you are thinking of reaching for something, they place a big bottle of milk in front of you and say, “Enjoy.”
Most likely you would say, “No way, I’m a grown-up, pass me some TURKEY.” Yet in many churches today it seems most Christians who should be feeding on the meat of God’s Word are satisfied with milk instead. When they should be teaching, they are satisfied with sitting and being taught. God needs workers today.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Isn’t it time you said, “Pass Me Some MEAT?”
