SEPTEMBER 17 & 18, 2022
Daily Reading – Pro. 18-19 / 2 Co. 4
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
If you are ever around 3-5-year-olds very long you have heard, “He touched me,” “That’s mine,” “It’s my toy,” and “She’s looking at me.” If it was not for the crying and whining accompanying it, it might be funny. However, no one likes to hear adults cry and whine.
Many Christians are much like these little ones when it comes to witnessing. Excuses like, “They will think I am a religious nut.” I wonder, what kind of nut do they think you are if you do not say you are a Christian nut. Or you will hear, “I do not talk well to people.” I take offense in that. They must not think I am people as they just spoke to me. Listen, no matter what they think, it will only be a little while, then we can all go to heaven.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Will you believe God can and will help you with your faith?
WHAT TO DO ON SUNDAY:
On Sundays, we encourage you to attend your local church and listen intently to what God has prepared in the heart of your Pastor. Write down all the scriptures he uses in that message, then, when you get home re-read those passages for today’s reading. God has given to your Pastor exactly what He desires for you on that day.
