JUNE 11 & 12, 2022
Daily Reading – 2 Kings 25 / John 15
WHAT GOD HAS SAID:
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
WHAT I HAVE SEEN:
What gifts or talents do you have? Are you a singer? Do you work well with your hand? Does administration seem to come to you naturally? Remember, all these talents and gifts were given to you by God. In doing so, God has chosen you out of many to perform certain functions for His kingdom.
When we accept Christ as our Saviour, we then have a desire to serve Him. How? By using the gifts and talents He has chosen to give to us. He has ordained you or set you apart to do something special for the kingdom of God.
Now if God has gifted you with a certain ability, He will also empower you in the use of that ability. Go out there and be fruitful for Him.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Are you being a useful steward of your gift?
WHAT TO DO ON SUNDAY:
On Sundays, we encourage you to attend your local church and listen intently to what God has prepared in the heart of your Pastor. Write down all the scriptures he uses in that message, then, when you get home re-read those passages for today’s reading. God has given to your Pastor exactly what He desires for you on that day.
