JUNE 14, 2022 – He Keeps His Promises

Daily Reading – 1 Chron. 3-5 / John 16:16-33

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

John 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

  Jesus told the disciples; right now, you are full of sorrow. Why were they sorrowful? It was because the world they lived in for several years following Christ was coming to an end. He is talking of going away to another place with His Father. He told them they would lament or cry over His departure. It was a sad moment.

  Then He said, I will be gone, but I am coming back again. That gave the disciples great hope. Guess what, He did come back just as He said. Well friends, He told us also that He has gone to prepare a place for us, and He is coming back again for us. We know this is true because He always keeps His promises. That promise should give you a great joy no man can take from you.
