Our Reason To Be!

Daily Reading – Deuteronomy 28 / Luke 4:14-44

WHAT GOD HAS SAID:

Luke 4:43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

WHAT I HAVE SEEN:

    Jesus often said, I am here to do “my Father’s business,” or “the will of Him who sent me.” Jesus was obedient to all the Father asked of Him.

    In today’s verse, He tells a group of people who wanted Him to remain and teach them more that He had to go and could not stay. He said, “I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.”

    Today there is an untold number of bible studies going on daily. Actually, I think Bible studies are great. However, if all we do is learn more and more but never give out the gospel message, we are not fulfilling the reason we are here. We must, as Jesus did, preach the Kingdom of God to others also.

    Mark 16:15 says; “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” 

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Is not sharing Christ our reason to be here?
